Charles : Relationships

Charles' favorite person; he can never live without him. He first saw Pierce as an annoyance and nothing more, but it wasn't long before Charles fell for him. When it comes to Pierce and his safety, Charles is willing to kill for, and even die for him. They marry later in life.

Pierce met Charles on a local online car forum. After finding out he was new in town, Pierce offered to show him around. He thought Charles seemed lonely and began to consider him a close friend to curb that. Even after learning about Charles' dark past, they grow closer and later marry.

Charles met Remy through pierce. They had a quick fling due to Charles' changing feelings towards Pierce, but besides that, Charles regards Remy as a man who's fallen off his throne and nothing more.

Meets Charles through Pierce. The two are no strangers to felonious lifestyles, which facilitated the short liaison they shared while Charles dealt with his conflicting feelings for Pierce. Remy eventually encouraged Charles to persue Pierce, ending their fling with no hard feelings.

Pierce's close friend. Charles slowly grows to dislike her, especially when he at one time believed she had a thing for pierce, which was nothing more than motherly instincts. He eventually learns to tolerate her but finds her annoying when she tries to pry into Pierce's life.

After finding out Pierce met Charles online, out of the blue, Gaia warns Pierce to be wary of Charles. She gets a bad feeling about him and generally doesn't like how she can't read him. She thinks Charles' personality is incompatible with their friend group.

Chitose recruited and trained Charles for many years, molding him into a trained killer at her own expense. Despite their visible dislike for each other, they do care for each other deep down, considering each other to be family, though neither will admit it.

Chitose picked up Charles after seeing his skills and soon turned him into her apprentice, molding him into the man he is today. Chitose is usually harsh and hard on him and keeps him under watch but despite all of that still cares for him as if he was her brother, something she will never admit.

Charles' first love, or close to it. They dated when he was 21, but the relationship was very short lived. They meet again later in life, and Simon even moves in with him. They no longer have feelings for each other and consider themselves friends.

Mason is Charles' older half-brother. Charles and Mason will never be close. Charles tried to be close with him as a child but Mason's apprehension towards him prevented that. Charles was also connected to an accident Mason had, which left them even worse off. Later on they do find cordial ground but nothing more.

Charles is Mason's younger half-brother.

Wyatt is the child of one of Pierce's employees, who Charles takes care of and babysits when both parents are at work. Considering Wyatt to be the closest thing he has to a son, he showers him with gifts and dotes on him when possible, which agitates Pierce.
